Meet-up & Special Events 

Weekly Meet-ups

From September through May, we will be hosting an exciting mix of meet ups at various locations. There will be hang outs, game nights, mall meet ups, movie nights, sports activities, cooking classes and more. We listen to our teens and plan activities around their ssuggestions.Most MTC planned events will be on the second Saturday of the month.

A few changes for this service year. 

- we will have one admin-led meet-up on the second Saturday of each month, typically 3pm - 5pm

- we are no longer collecting monthly dues, but there is still a one-time $99mxn application fee

- we will coordinate and collaborate with other groups and events for teen-centered activities and events

- we welcome parent-hosted meet-ups, classes, and activities 

- We will still host our annual events - Costume Party, Holiday Gathering, Spring Formal, and Summer Sendoff 

Annual Events

• Costume Party: Each year the MTC hosts a cosume party that blends the traditions of Halloween and Dia de Muertos. It is a teens-only event.
• Holiday Gathering: The whole family is invited to celebrate and share the spirit of the season. The gatheirng is potluck style and includes a collection of  donated gifts for a local organization. It is a great way for families in our community to connect.
• Spring Formal: Think of it as a prom but open to teens 13 - 18. The event includes music, dancing, food, and fun memories made with friends. It is a teens-only event.
• Summer Sendoff: This marks the end of our service year and is typically held in late May or early June. During the event, we host a graduation ceremony for our community members who are homeschooled. This event is open to the whole family.
